Heard at the bar: the whole city was up today, Composite 1,161.36

Pull up a stool, folks, there's a story tonight. The Composite gained 6.02% to close at 1,161.36, and the whole town's talking about it.

Rokku Streaming walked in with a spring in its step today, 15.27%; folks at the bar were on about it since morning. Metaface wasn't bad either, 12.32%.

Across the city, 31 names up and 5 down.

Where did the money go? Metaface alone turned over 1.22B CC, out of 10.76B CC for the whole city.

Word is it was because of this: "Institutions across the city raise their AI computing spending plans in unison". Several fictional institutions in MockTradeCity have raised their compute investment budgets at once. Chip and data center demand expectations climb, and the power load that comes with them rises in step. Everyone at the bar has a theory; I just write down the numbers.

There's always a hard-luck story. Irisview Medical dropped 3.54% today, Cavva Kitchens dropped 2.21%, and the regulars chewed on it all afternoon.

The rest of the story, tomorrow at this hour.
