After Hours: down 2.42%, pull up a chair

It's late, and this is Old Joe. A rough one today: the Composite lost 2.42% and closed at 1,229.74. No rush. Let's walk through it.

At the other end, Macrohard (JYFT) gave up 9.59%, the biggest drop of the day. Tiltcloud Communications (TWLY) didn't fare much better, -7.51%.

Across the city, 17 names up and 20 down, on turnover of 3.31B CC.

The name everyone was talking about was Campfield Foods (CPBX), closing at 54.58, +10.06%. Advanced Mini Devices (AMDX) added 9.69% too.

The headline everyone was passing around was "The city passes corporate and personal income-tax cuts". The Authority has passed a three-year tax cut, lowering corporate tax bills and lifting household disposable income. Consumer and internet platform names benefit most directly, while price-regulated Utilities see limited gains.

From the sectors, I noted one: Several Energy companies see long-term contract signings slow. A sector-wide move in Energy: Pricing disagreements have delayed some long-term contract signings.

The sun comes up tomorrow either way. That's where I leave you. Good night.
