After Hours: one headline after another, Composite 1,127.68
Old Joe with you. The headlines came one after another today, so I'll go through the news first and the market after. Composite 1,127.68, -0.83%.
On the news side, "A neighboring state restricts advanced-chip exports, squeezing the city's hardware supply" travelled the furthest. Export licenses for high-end chips and manufacturing equipment have been tightened, stretching delivery times for the city's hardware makers. Expectations for local substitutes and defense procurement rise.
And that wasn't the only one. There was also "A powerful typhoon makes landfall on the city's coast, halting work and transport" and "A crude supply outage sends the city's oil price sharply higher in one day". That many stories in one day is unusual.
The name everyone was talking about was Liberty Copper (FCOP), closing at 60.69, +12.89%. Basinrock Resources (PRMX) added 11.88% too.
At the other end, Fahrenheit Beverages (CELX) gave up 14.50%, the biggest drop of the day. HimWell Health (HIMX) didn't fare much better, -9.71%.
Across the city, 13 names up and 24 down, on turnover of 7.03B CC.
Coffee's finished and so am I. Good night.
